Flex earning
Flex earning represents your participation in the flexibility market through a third-party service. Depending on market conditions and your system settings, your home battery may be charged from the grid or discharged to support the grid. Any resulting earnings are based on market activity for the selected period and shown after applicable service fees and VAT. You can learn more about Flex here. You can monitor your Flex activity under the History tab by scrolling to the Flex earnings graph.

Smart Sale
Smart Sale shows the earnings generated from selling excess solar energy to the grid during periods of higher electricity prices. These earnings result from the Export Priority command, which schedules solar exports based on market price signals. The actual prices are defined by the market, and earnings may vary depending on market conditions, weather, and your siteβs ability to generate solar power during the Export Priority command. You can read more about Smart Sale here.
Battery arbitrage
Battery Arbitrage shows the financial benefit of storing energy in your battery and using it at times when electricity prices are higher. The stored energy can originate from both the grid and solar production. This value is calculated based on price differences over the selected period and represents the overall benefit of using stored energy when market prices vary.
Battery protection
Battery Protection helps preserve your home battery during periods of high household consumption. When overall power demand increases, for example when charging an electric vehicle, using a sauna, or during other high-load activities, the system limits battery discharge so the battery is not drained too quickly. This benefit shows the total time during which Battery Protection was active for the selected period.
Negative price protection
Negative Price Protection helps avoid unnecessary costs during periods of negative electricity prices. When prices fall below the defined threshold, the system limits energy export to the grid and prioritises self-consumption and charging your battery instead. This benefit shows the total time during which Negative Price Protection was active for the selected period.
