EMS device has lost internet connection

Check the power

See if the lights on the MarkeDroid device are on.

  • Light is not on → the device is not receiving power. Check the power adapter and plug.
  • Light is on → the power is okay.

Check the internet

Check the color of the device's LED:

  • Red → no internet connection.
  • Blue → internet connection to our device is present.

If the LED is red:

  • Ensure that the router is working (internet is available in the home network).
  • Check the LAN cable (if using a cable): is the cable properly connected at both ends?
  • Restart the router, wait 30–60 seconds, and then restart the MarkeDroid device (remove power for 10 seconds).

EMS device has lost connection to the inverter

The reason is often a change in the IP or MAC address (which can be caused by Wi-Fi extenders/meshes and switches).

Quick check

  • Restart the MarkeDroid device (power off for 10 s → on).
  • If the inverter is connected via Wi-Fi, use a LAN cable instead if possible.
  • Check that both the inverter and the MarkeDroid device are on the same subnet (same router).
  • If possible, assign a static IP address to the inverter (to prevent the IP from changing).
  • If you have Wi-Fi extenders/mesh, try temporarily turning them off or confirm that they are not creating a new subnet.

Do the connection problems persist?

  • Leave the EMS device connected to the power and internet for a few hours after performing the steps above - the system will try to reconnect automatically.
  • If the problem persists, please contact us at support@markedroid.com.

When contacting support, please include:

  • Site name/address (or customer account).
  • A brief description of when the problem started and what steps you have already tried.

Recommendations for stable device operation

  • Prefer a LAN cable instead of Wi-Fi for a more stable connection.
  • A static IP for the inverter helps prevent connection drops.
  • Avoid complex mesh/bridge devices that can change IPs.
